This Privacy Policy describes how Agnitejas Energy Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use AuroDB: the Android app and the private web desks we share with your company (together, the "Service").
1 Who this is for
AuroDB is a business-to-business (B2B) platform. Access is restricted to authorised staff, contractors, partners, and customers of organisations that use AuroDB.
The Service is not intended for children under 18. If you are not an authorised user of a subscribing organisation, you should not sign in.
2 Information we collect
2.1 Account and identity
- Full name, email address, employee ID
- Role within your organisation (e.g., Sales, HR, Project Team)
- Profile photograph (if provided)
2.2 Location data
- Precise GPS location: collected when you use attendance check-in/check-out and field route tracking
- Background location: collected while field-tracking is on (HR / Operations Manager role). Used only to record field staff travel during working hours. Collection stops when you log out or turn the service off.
2.3 Camera
- Photos taken during attendance selfie verification are uploaded to confirm your presence at the work location.
2.4 Device and usage data
- Device model, OS version, app version (for crash reporting via Firebase Crashlytics)
- Non-identifiable crash logs and performance metrics
2.5 Business data
- Lead information, project details, quotations, HR records and commission data. This belongs to your employer's company account.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
4 Background location
The App requests ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION permission exclusively for field staff route tracking during active work hours:
- The background service starts only when a field-tracking session is explicitly initiated by the user or their manager.
- Location data is transmitted over HTTPS and associated only with your employee account under your employer's company.
- No location data is shared with any third party other than the employer organisation.
- A persistent foreground notification is shown at all times while tracking is active.
- You can revoke this permission at any time in Android Settings → Apps → AuroDB → Permissions.
5 Data storage and security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
- Data is stored on servers within India (unless your organisation's company space is configured otherwise).
- Credentials are stored in encrypted secure storage on-device (Android Keystore).
- Business data is kept separate for each company. One company cannot see another company's data.
6 Data retention
- Employee attendance, location, and HR records are retained as required by your employer and applicable labour laws (typically 5 to 7 years).
- Crash logs are retained for 90 days in Firebase Crashlytics.
- On account deletion, personal data is purged within 30 days except where retention is legally required.
7 Third-party services
No other third-party SDKs collect user data.
8 Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to employer and legal requirements)
- Withdraw consent for push notifications (via device settings)

9 Changes to this policy
We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
